Oranssi’s entrance, event spaces, and WC facilities are on street level and can accommodate large assistive devices. However, some higher thresholds and sloping ramps may pose challenges for manual wheelchair users. The restrooms are gender-neutral.

Oranssi’s main entrance consists of two doors. When both doors are open, the entrance width is 136cm, and with one door open, it’s 66cm. The front door has a 4cm high threshold, and below it, there is a 155cm wide wooden ramp with a slope of approximately 10% or 5.75 degrees. At both ends of the ramp, there is a bump of about 1.5cm.

Upon entering, the WC facility is on the left. The narrowest width of the door opening is 84cm, and the door opens outward. There are two stalls, with one significantly larger. Both stalls have a toilet, sink, and trash bin, but no handheld shower.

The larger stall’s door opens outward, and the narrowest width of the door opening is 82cm. There is 129cm of empty space between the toilet and the door, 80cm in front of the toilet, and 76cm on the right side. Both sides of the toilet have adjustable handrails.

The sink in the larger stall is fixed at a height of 85cm. There is a 79cm high, 90.5cm wide, and 59cm deep empty space below the sink.

The width of the door opening for the smaller stall is about 53cm. However, the sink is almost immediately in front of the door opening, and there is a 44cm gap between the sink’s corner and the left edge, requiring some maneuvering to enter.

The entrance from the foyer to the club hall consists of two fire doors. When both doors are open, the entrance width is 145cm, and with one door open, it’s 96.5cm. The door is heavy but can be held open with a loop on the foyer wall. There is approximately a 3cm threshold at the door opening.

A 120cm wide wooden ramp with a slope of about 8% or 4.62 degrees leads from the club hall to the studio-stage lounge area. The door opening width is 178cm.

Unfortunately, there is no accessible route to the upstairs office and meeting room. If you’re getting a tattoo and have any accessibility needs, let the artist or organizers know and we will accommodate.

When approaching the Suvilahti area, the smoother route to Oranssi’s building is from the Sörnäisten rantatie side. Coming from Kalasatama may involve either descending stairs next to Oranssi or navigating around Building 8, near Cirkon, and its slope.
